Figure skaters have the exciting opportunity to learn from one of the best! Nancy will share her expert insights, techniques, and personal experiences to help you elevate your skills on the ice. This hands-on workshop is open to ages 7 to adult, and all levels, Basic 1-Senior.

Grove Arrival Day

This free event celebrates the anniversary of the day the pioneering Kennicott family first arrived at The Grove. Meet costumed interpreters and discover what life was like in 1836.

Head over to the Kennicott House at 3 p.m. for a signing of Elizabeth Kopp’s book about Robert Kennicott, A Frozen Fog. Refreshments and mocktails will be served.

Spring Restoration Work Day at The Grove

Registration for this event is full. Stay tuned for future dates!

Join us as we work to restore the native habitat at The Grove. Collect seeds or remove non-native, invasive plants to make way for native wildflowers, grasses and trees. Bring your work gloves, if you have them, and meet at the Interpretive Center.

Registration is required for this event. Email groverestoration@glenviewparks.org to register and for more information. Work parties may be cancelled if there is inclement weather.

For ages 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

New this year-Kennicott Heritage Peonies will be available for purchase. This species was originally planted in The Grove Nursery which was established by Dr John Kennicott in 1842.
