For ages 4-6
Explore The Grove in the winter and learn all about what animals do when the weather gets cold. Each day features a different theme. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the weather as a large portion of this program will be outdoors. A daily snack is included.

holiday tennis camp
Location: Glenview Tennis Club
Dates: Tu-F, 12/26-12/29 and Tu-F, 1/2-1/5 (two sessions)
Times: 9:30 a.m.-noon
For ages 6-14
Taught by the club’s professional tennis staff, children are grouped by age to receive the appropriate level of instruction + just the right amount of fun!
Fee: $45, register by the day
2-ball tournament
Location: Park Center
Date: Th, 12/28
Time: 3-5 pm.
For ages 10-13
Grab a friend and participate in this exciting basketball competition. Teams consist of 2 players who will have 60 seconds to shoot baskets from different locations on the floor with different point values. The team with the most points after 2 rounds wins. Partners must be same gender and same grade. All participants must register individually and indicate their partner’s name when enrolling. Winning teams will receive a 5-visit punch card to youth basketball open gym.

cool ice adventure camp

Time: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
For ages 6-13
Cool Ice Adventure Camp puts winter break on ice for skaters ages 6-13. Kids can sharpen their on- and off-ice skills, play games, create crafts and meet up with friends, new and old.

funshine club enchanting winter camp

Time: 9-11:30 a.m.
For ages 3-5
Experience the joy of the winter season! During this engaging 4-day session, children ages 3-5 will explore and discover the various ways fun can brighten up their winter days. A snack will be provided.

shoot-to-score camp
Location: Glenview Community Ice Center
Dates: W-F, 1/3-1/5
Time: 8:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
For ages 7-13
Come have some fun over winter break with our dedicated hockey staff. Elevate your on-ice skills, experience the thrill of Rapidshot, and take a spin on the ice bumper cars. Enjoy three full days of exciting hockey fun!

junior lifeguard winter break program
Location: Splash Landings
Dates: W-F, 12/27-1/5
Time: 1-4 p.m.
For ages 10-15
Learn what it takes to become a Glenview Park District lifeguard in this six-day program over winter break from school. Receive CPR and first aid training, and hands-on experience by shadowing our well-qualified staff. This program provides guidance, challenges and activities for budding lifeguards, ages 10-15 who are passionate about swimming and want to develop leadership and teamwork skills. Upon program completion, those who are 15 years old can even apply to become a lifeguard with us!
