Dress up in your costume and enjoy a Halloween-themed cosmic skate with special lights and glow sticks under the disco ball. The evening also features fun giveaways, Trunk or Treat in the parking lot, a costume contest and Ice Bumper Car rides in the Studio Rink. 5:30 – 8 p.m. at the Park Center (2400 Chestnut Ave.) • Get Ready for a Spooktacular Night! Calling all little ghouls, goblins and skeletons (ages 2–12)! Put on your favorite costume and join us for a fang-tastic evening of fright-free fun at our indoor/outdoor Halloween bash! Costumes are encouraged and smiles are guaranteed. Parents must accompany children.

3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Historic Wagner Farm • Wear your favorite costumes to our kid-friendly bash that includes a haunted wagon ride, pumpkin games, and more ghoulish fun. $10/person. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

4:30-7:30 p.m. at The Grove (13-17 Years) • Don’t let a costume malfunction ruin your spooky season! Bring your Halloween costume to our repair station and learn simple fixes to keep your look frightfully flawless. We’ll have sewing machines and supplies, hot glue, glitter, fabric pens, patches, and more. Spooky bites provided. Fee: R/NR $20/22

Bring your clean, gently used costumes ahead of time and receive a shopping receipt with the total value of your items. Use your receipt to “shop” on Saturday. Whether you’re trick-or-treating, attending a party or just love to dress up – there’s something for everyone! All ages and sizes are welcome. 6-7:30 p.m. at The Grove • (7-12 Years) Join us for special nighttime animal encounters as we explore the mysterious and often misunderstood world of nocturnal wildlife. Set off on a guided tour to meet our nocturnal and crepuscular creatures. Discover the amazing adaptations of nocturnal animals and see the nature center come alive in a whole new light. 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Community Bark West (Free with dog park membership) • Treat your pup to some special Halloween treats and toys while enjoying a drink from Tom’s Coffee Truck. Snap a photo in front of our spooky backdrop and participate in a costume contest for a chance to win a free dog park membership for next year!

10-11 a.m. at The Grove • (4+ Years plus Adult) Learn about spiders, snakes, and other “spooky” animals that make the prairie their home. We’ll search the trails for signs of all these animals and learn about how they are getting ready for winter. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. Please register each guardian/child separately.

5:30-7 p.m. at The Grove • (5-8 Years) Take a closer look at the wild world of decomposition! This fun hike turns gross into great as we explore through hands-on activities how dead things break down and feed the forest. We’ll discover nature’s recyclers—fungi, insects, and bacteria—and learn how decay helps keep the forest alive. Fee: R/NR $10/12

6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. at The Grove • Gather around the fire this Halloween season for Hops & Haunts—a chillingly fun night out for adults. Enjoy local craft beer under the stars as our storytellers share eerie legends, unsettling true tales, and spine-tingling folklore by the flicker of the campfire.
