All deposits and remaining balances must be paid using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express). Please note that cash and checks are not accepted. If you select the Payment Plan option by March 13, you will automatically be enrolled in a monthly payment plan. Payments will be evenly distributed and charged to your designated credit card on the following dates: March 16, April 16 and May 16. For all registrations received on or after March 14, full payment is required. Declined payments must be resolved immediately. All balances must be paid in full prior to your camper’s first day of camp. Campers with unpaid balances will not be permitted to attend, and failure to resolve payment may result in forfeiting your child’s spot to waitlist participants
How the payment plan works: All camps with early bird fees at or above $200 are eligible for payment plans with a deposit.

Calculating your installments – Each payment plan option requires a $75 deposit per section for each camper, except for the “REGISTER BY THE WEEK” day camps (Playtime Pals, Sun Troopers, Fun Quest), which require a non-refundable $25 deposit per section for each child. To be eligible for a payment plan, all registrations must be completed by or before March 13. This deposit will be deducted from the total camp fee, and the remaining balance will be divided into three equal installment payments.
Automatic Charges –Three installment payments will be automatically charged to your credit card on the following dates: March 16, April 16, and May 16.
Payment Plan Deadline –March 13 is the last day to register with a deposit and take advantage of the payment plan program. Payment is due in full for all registrations received on or after March 14.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Only credit card and debit card payments will be accepted. The park district accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express and debit cards on which a MasterCard or Visa logo appears. There is a 10% cancellation charge per program fee per child for camps up to a maximum of $75 per program per child until May 4. Beginning May 5, a 20% cancellation charge per program fee per child for camps up to a maximum of $200 per program per child. Refunds will only be made in full week increments. The last two weeks of each session are non-refundable. Refunds need to be requested at least 7 days before the start of the refunded week. Please email registration@glenivewparks.org.
Campers required to miss four or more days due to illness/medical issues or as required by the Park District will be refunded for days missed. A doctor’s note is required in order to process a refund. Refunds will not be issued if campers are absent three days or fewer due to illness.
Does the Glenview Park District prorate camp fees?
Camp fees will be prorated in whole weeks only and only after the camp session has begun, subject to the camp supervisor’s approval and discretion. This option is limited to camps with available space. For example, if a camper starts on a day other than Monday, they must pay for the entire week they begin. Prorated registrations will only be accepted within one week of the camper’s start date. Please keep in mind that prorated fees are not available for reasons such as vacation, travel, family commitments, or other conflicts. The only exceptions are for medical considerations, not including general illnesses, such as injuries supported by a doctor’s note. These requests are subject to the supervisor’s discretion.
Refunds
From January 9 to May 4, there is a 10% cancellation charge calculated on the total fee of the section per child, with a maximum charge of$75 per camp section per child. For “REGISTER BY THE WEEK” day camps (Playtime Pals, Sun Troopers, Fun Quest), a non-refundable $25 deposit per section will be charged and retained for each section if canceled during this period. Beginning May 5, the cancellation charge increases to 20% of the total camp section fee per child, with a maximum charge of $200 per section per child. Please note that prorated refunds are not available, and all refund requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the start of the section for which the refund is requested. For example, if you are requesting a refund for the first session of camp beginning Monday, June 9, the request must be received by midnight on Monday, June 2. If you request a refund for a camp that is currently in session or has ended, you will be responsible for the full payment of the camp session, and no refund will be issued. If a refund is requested for future sections that fall outside the seven-day request window, a refund will be provided for those sessions, subject to a 20% cancellation fee calculated on the total fee of the section, not the deposit paid. To request a refund, please email registration@glenviewparks.org or contact the specific camp supervisor.
How Do I Know if I’m in a Program?
If you are registering online, you will be able to print your own receipt. If you are placed on a waitlist, the initial receipt will show that you are on the waitlist and you will receive an updated receipt once you have been placed in the class. In the event your program is cancelled, you will be notified and your program fee refunded.
Waitlist Policies
• If the camp you have selected is full, your payment will be processed, and you will be placed on the waitlist for that section.
• Participants may only be added to a waitlist section if they have not been accepted into another section of that same camp. Once the participant has been accommodated into a section of the program, they may not maintain a waitlist spot for any other section of that same program.
• To be added to a waitlist, you must complete a program registration form or online registration and pay the program fee for that camp. You may not be added to a waitlist by phone call or handwritten note. Your position on the waitlist is based on when your registration with payment is processed by the district.
• If there are no openings after the first two weeks of the program, your payment will be refunded in full.
• If you register for a waitlist for camps that occur at the same day and time as another camp and your child is offered a spot, you will be subject to the cancellation fee for the spot that becomes available should you choose not to enroll in the program. We kindly ask that you refrain from registering for duplicate camps at the same day and time, as cancellation fees will apply.

Parent Information and Online Emergency Forms
Glenview Park District is proud to announce the adoption of ePACT Network, a health and safety software to better support all our members and make it easier to submit critical data securely! ePACT is a secure digital solution that allows you to quickly share the health and emergency information we need, and also provides us with powerful communication tools to ensure we have a way to message you in the event of an illness, injury, or larger scale emergency.
Your child’s health profile must be completed using the email address that received the request which is the email linked to your Glenview Park District household account.
Have questions or need assistance with your household account or Camp registration, call our friendly customer service team at 847-724-5670.
Why are we using ePACT?
• To save you time – With ePACT, you only need to complete your child’s information once, and then verify that it is still correct for additional programs or subsequent years (which can be done in just two minutes)! And if you need to update something quickly, just log in and update it and we’ll be notified immediately.
• To eliminate high-touch processes – Collecting data electronically and checking members in /out using contactless methods that ePACT offers means a significant reduction in close human contact and shared items like pens and paper sheets.
• For better security & privacy – ePACT’s high encryption levels and commitment to security means your data on ePACT is safer than on paper- where it can be misplaced or accessible to people who shouldn’t have access to it. ePACT allows us to limit and track access.
• ePACT makes it far easier for you to share emergency information with us, while also ensuring we have access to records anytime, anywhere with the mobile app – even without an internet connection.
Rest assured that you always own your account and the information in it. Have questions or feedback? Please contact us at member.support@epactnetwork.com or visit www.epactnetwork.com.

General Information
The park district believes in making programs available for all children in Glenview. If individuals are in need of financial assistance in order to participate, the park district offers Recreational Leisureship scholarships.
Assistance will be granted to families who qualify based upon need and availability of funds. This financial assistance program is available to Glenview Park District residents only.
For additional information, visit glenviewparks.org/district-forms or call our Customer Service team at 847-724-5670.
All park district camps have been designated NUT SAFE. These practices are being implemented due to the rapid increase in serious nut allergies experienced by children in our programs today. We are requesting your cooperation in partnering with us to ensure a safe environment for children with nut allergies. Peanut replacement products, such as soy butter, are not allowed at camp due to potential challenges our staff may face in distinguishing between nut-based and nut-free products once they are unpackaged or prepared. Please note that this policy extends to similar items like Nutella, cashew butter and any other products that could be mistakenly identified as nut-based items. These items are not permitted at camp. Items may also not be made in a facility with nut products.
We open our doors 15 minutes prior to the start of camp to begin signing campers in. This allows more time for activities and more time to get siblings to other camp locations on time.
For camps traveling by bus for field trips and swimming at Glenview outdoor pools, if the bus has seat belts, campers will use them. If the bus does not have seat belts, we will continue with the trip. Please note that we cannot guarantee that buses will have air conditioning; however, windows will be opened to allow for fresh air circulation. In the event of inclement weather or if temperatures exceed a heat index of 100 degrees, we may reconsider longer field trips and adjust travel plans if the destination requires more than 45 minutes to an hour of travel time. Campers are expected to remain seated while on the bus except for loading and unloading. Camp staff carry cell phones on all trips for any unexpected emergencies.
The Glenview Park District required that your child be toilet trained by the start of camp, with the exception of the Firstview Program. To avoid accidents with our preschool aged campers, our staff will do their best to take frequent bathroom breaks.
Campers must be signed in and out of camp every day by an authorized adult specified on the camper’s emergency form. The individual picking up the child must provide a photo I.D. at least the first week of camp so staff becomes familiar with the person(s) picking up the campers. If a new person shows up to pick up a camper, the staff member should ask their name, verify it is on the list and ask to see a photo I.D. If someone arrives to pick up a camper not on the authorized pick-up list, camp staff will not release the camper to the individual until the authorized parent or legal guardian confirms that staff may release the camper to the individual. This includes the child’s parent or guardian. Campers aged 8 and above are permitted to sign themselves out of camp provided they are listed as an authorized pick-up on ePACT.
If your child is ill, experiencing a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, undiagnosed rash, communicable diseases (such as strep throat, influenza, COVID-19, chicken pox, measles, etc.) do not send him/her to camp. All campers must be fever free for 24 hours (without fever reducing medication) before returning to camp. Children attending camp must be well enough to participate in all scheduled activities. Be sure to immediately report any communicable diseases to camp administration (page 4) so other parents may be notified of possible exposure. There may be times you will be asked to provide a signed doctor’s note showing your child can return to camp. Confidentiality is respected at all times. If your child becomes ill during camp, we will notify you or your emergency contacts and require an authorized adult pick up your child. Glenview Park District does not prorate camp fees for missed days due to illness.
Your child will have a better camp experience if they are dressed appropriately for camp activities! Label all clothing, bags, backpacks, sunscreen and water bottles prior to camp. Camp-specific apparel or items will be communicated by the specific camp director/supervisor. The park district is not responsible for any lost items.
• Comfortable, cool play clothes (do not send your child to camp in valuable clothing-grass stains and paint spills are not always avoidable during action-packed days)
• Gym shoes (open-toed shoes are not allowed) Have your camper leave any valuable items such as video games, smart watches, action figures, cell phones, etc. at home.
The park district wants to assure all campers have a safe and fun experience. Although the park district does not require children to have a medical examination to attend camp, your pre-camp emergency forms inform us of any special medical needs, including allergies and emergency details. As added protection for our campers, all of our camps are nut-safe.
If your child needs accommodations in accordance with the American with Disabilities Act, please contact us as soon as possible to ensure a successful experience for your child. If you would like more information on inclusion, please contact Natalie Liang, Assistant Superintendent of Recreation at 224-521-2552. Individuals with T.D.D.’s, call 1-800-526-0844 and the Illinois Relay Center will transmit the message to the park district.
The Glenview Park District is committed to keeping its facilities and programs operating whenever possible. However, there are times when weather, road conditions or facility malfunctions may require the cancellation or temporary postponement of programs and services, or even the closure of entire facilities. In such cases, the Glenview Park District reserves the right to close a specific facility, cancel a program or modify activities based on specific criteria, which can be found in the Park District Policies section of our website, glenviewparks.org.
The Glenview Park District will make every effort to communicate any closings or cancellations through the Park District Rainout Hotline Service, on website at glenviewparks.org, and the Metropolitan Chicago Emergency Closing Center.
In our summer camp setting, we prioritize a caring and positive approach to behavior management and discipline. We expect all participants to uphold three core principles:
• Respect for fellow campers and staff members.
• Respect for the camp facilities and equipment.
• Compliance with camp rules to ensure safety for all.
Our aim is to cultivate self-control and accountability in campers, guiding them to understand the impact of their actions. Camp staff will establish clear and consistent rules appropriate for each age group, encouraging campers to communicate and resolve conflicts verbally. If a camper continues to struggle with behavior despite redirection and support, our disciplinary procedures will be implemented. Similarly, parents are expected to exemplify respect and appropriate behavior within the camp environment. Discipline serves the purpose of promoting self-control and personal responsibility. We utilize positive reinforcement and redirection strategies to address negative behavior. Every effort will be made to accommodate the diverse needs of our campers ensuring a fun and positive learning experience for all.
