Welcome to New Director of Brand Strategies and Community Engagement
The Glenview Park District welcomes Anna Ables as its new Director of Brand Strategies and Community Engagement after a two-month national search. In this role, Ables will oversee all public communications, marketing, community partnership and sponsorship efforts for all Park District facilities. Her term began on December 30.
“I’m so excited for this new opportunity,” said Ables. “Throughout my career, promoting enriching experiences and connecting people within their communities has been what drives me. I can’t wait to bring my passion to the next level while serving the Glenview community.”
Ables is a marketing and public relations professional with over twenty years of experience in arts administration and non-profit management. Ables previously served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for The Theatre School at DePaul University, where she lead a rebranding campaign, two website redesigns and developed communications and promotions for more than 150 events. Ables is a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified through the Project Management Institute and has extensive partnership development and fundraising experience.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts – Public Relations & Communications from Oklahoma City University and a Master of Fine Arts-Arts Administration from Southern Utah University.
