Folk Fest

Local history comes to life at Folk Fest! Celebrate autumn at The Grove with folk music, hayrides and more. Shop unique items from local vendors and artisans. Dine on hearty pork and bean stew, corn, caramel apples, slices of pie, popcorn and apple cider in the outdoor dining hall (additional purchase required). Explore a Native American Indian longhouse, take in the fall colors on a nature walk along the picturesque trails and immerse yourself in the history of Glenview as costumed interpreters relive local history.

Get tickets online in advance and select your admission time: 11 a.m., 1 p.m., or 3 p.m. Admission is $5 per person and $1 for children under age 12. Admission increases the day of the event.

Time Slots: 5:15 p.m. • 5:45 p.m. • 6:15 p.m. • 6:45 p.m.

Cozy up around the fire for an evening of sweet fall memories! Roast marshmallows, build the perfect s’more and then hop aboard a tractor-drawn wagon for a scenic ride through the pasture as the sun sets over the farm.

Yappy Hour Series: Howl-O-Ween (dog park members only)

Join us for a howling good time at our annual Howl-O-Ween event! Bring your pups in a costume for a chance to win a 2027 dog park membership, create a keepsake at our Pumpkin Paw Print Station, strike a pose in front of our spooky backdrop, grab a treat bag and sip on a drink from Tom’s Coffee Truck. *This is an exclusive event for dog park members.

Autumn Exhale- A Sound Bath in Nature

As autumn settles across the prairie, join us for an immersive outdoor sound bath surrounded by open skies, native flowers and grasses, and the gentle rhythms of nature. Through the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls and restorative instruments, you’ll be invited to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself and the natural world. This experience offers a space to release tension, embrace stillness, and fully experience the beauty of the season.  In the event of inclement weather, program will move indoors at the Tyner Center.
