Bring your gently used costumes and exchange them for a new-to-you outfit perfect for trick-or-treating! Whether you have children’s costumes, adult costumes, or accessories, everyone is welcome to participate.
 
Drop off costumes and accessories on October 3, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. or October 4, 12-3 p.m. at the drop-off table in Park Center’s lobby. Costumes must be clean and in good condition before dropping them off.

For every costume dropped off, you will receive a shop token to use on the day of the swap—one token per costume donated! Not interested in swapping? All accessories will be priced at $1 and costumes at $10 for cash-only purchase.
 
On Saturday, enjoy music, children’s activities, and the chance to find the perfect Halloween ensemble. It’s an enjoyable and eco-friendly way to refresh your Halloween wardrobe. See you there!

Folk Fest

Local history comes to life at The Grove Folk Fest.

Costumed interpreters relive local history while visitors celebrate autumn with folk music, square dancing, hayrides and more. Dine on hearty food in the outdoor dining hall or enjoy a nature walk along the trails. Shop unique items from local vendors and artisans.

Community Bark West will be hosting three exciting FREE events exclusively for dog park members. Not a dog park member? Click here for more info to join! Treat your pup to some special dog treats for “trick-or-treat” fun and let them socialize with other furry pals. Participate in a costume contest for a chance to win a free dog membership for next year! Events are for dog park members only – make sure to bring your membership card to scan at the entrance.

Skip the fringe and create an authentic 1920s vintage look for Halloween! During week one, learn how to make a genuine 1920s dress using Mary Brooks Picken’s infamous (and highly adaptable) one-hour dress pattern. Week two, explore 1920s hairdos. Week three, complete your costume with a 1920s makeup-look and celebrate your hard work and accomplishments with delicious mocktails!

Note: A basic understanding of sewing machines is required for the first class on September 15. All supplies will be provided. Sign up for individual classes, or all three for a discounted rate (section D).
