Stock Show and Dairy Festival

Enjoy a true bucolic experience. Watch local 4H students compete with their fair-bound animal projects and learn all about dairy. Milking demonstrations, butter and cheese making, dairy trivia and entertainment will delight visitors of all ages.

Restoration Work Day

Sponsored by the North Branch Restoration Project, seasonal activities include brush cutting, weed removal and seed collection. For a work day schedule, visit northbranchrestoration.org.

Nature - There's an App for That!

Have you ever been outside and wondered “what is that?” It could be a bird, tree, plant, insect, or other animal you need help identifying. Well, there’s an app for that! Join The Grove and Greener Glenview as we collaborate with other experts and share our knowledge of some amazing community science apps that help you with nature identification and turn you into citizen scientists. Smart phones required. Trail hike included. If you are able, please download each app to your phone ahead of time. Dress for the weather and meet at the program barn.

Conservation Kids Day

Children ages 3+ yrs. and their guardians can drop in for amazing hands-on environmental experiences where they join a skilled staff member in high-quality learning activities that connect children and adults to nature, conservation, and prepares them for a future of lifelong learning, appreciation and stewardship of the Earth. Public Meeting: Pickleball Expansion in Glenview

Pickleball continues to be an expanding sport and in high demand in Glenview. In Spring 2023, four new dedicated pickleball courts were opened on the northern end of Gallery Park. The Glenview Park District is currently undergoing a feasibility study to explore site locations for expanding pickleball courts. This process will include public meetings and a survey so we can hear more from you about what you would like to see. Please join us to learn more and share your feedback!

Glenview Farmer's Market Opening Day

Saturdays, June 17-Oct. 21, 8 am-12 pm
Enjoy shopping for delicious, local food at the Glenview Farmers Market, a free, weekly event that takes place rain or shine. This year’s market includes several vendors from previous years and some new vendors. It’s located in the circle drive by the Heritage Center. Free parking is available across the street in the Historic Wagner Farm lot and the St. Peter and Paul Church lot at the corner of Lake and Wagner Roads. Note: No parking allowed on Wagner Road.

3v3 Summer Soccer Fest

This event is a celebration of our young athletes and the sport of soccer. Both recreational (open) and competitive (premier) divisions are offered for boys and girls so everyone of all ability levels can participate. Proceeds from this event help fund the Glenview Park Foundation and its mission to enhance recreational opportunities for all of Glenview.

Pioneer Day

Could you live without electricity, central air, running water or even – gasp! – a flush toilet? Embark on an epic journey to discover what life was like in the 1800s. Bring the pioneer experience to life as you follow your map and travel along The Grove’s Trails participating in hands-on activities – candle dipping, tin punching and more. Plus! Spin the wagon “prize wheel” and win special keepsakes from The Grove.

Ticket times for admission are every 15 minutes starting at 11 am. Last ticketed admission time is at 2 pm. Guests may stay as long as they wish.

Glenview Summer Fest

Come see us at Summer Fest, an event hosted by the Glenview Chamber of Commerce! Stop by our booth to learn more about the park district and play fun games and win prizes.

Restoration Work Days

For ages 8+

Collect seeds or remove non-native, invasive plants to make way for native wildflowers, grasses and trees. Bring work gloves if you have them and meet at the Interpretive Center. Reservations are required to attend so we can plan appropriate Work Day activities. Please RSVP to groverestoration@glenviewparks.org to reserve your spot.

Work parties may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

International Mud Day Celebration
