Hayride at The Grove

If sitting in hay and singing songs as your wagon is pulled through The Grove’s woodlands sounds like a perfect fall evening, this program is for you! Roasting marshmallows and popping popcorn over a campfire will also be part of the fun. For all ages (not recommended for ages 2 yrs. and under) Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Adults should register separately. 2 dates to choose from and 3 time slots per date:

Neighbors Helping Neighbors Blood Drive

Many of us are looking for a way to help our neighbors and strengthen our community after the tragedy in Highland Park on the Fourth of July. You can help your neighbors by donating the gift of blood to someone in need in our community!

Halloween Spooktacular

Get in the Halloween spirit with our family-friendly Halloween party celebrating Super Heroes! Join us inside for a DJ, trick-or-treating, inflatables, face painting, ghoulish games, creepy crafts and much more! Outside, there will be cozy hayrides around BATtea Middle School and Little SCARE Park, entertainment and more games/activities. The event is designed for ages 3-10 years; parents must accompany their children. Get creative and feel free to dress up in your Halloween costumes. We encourage it! If inclement weather or rain, most outdoor activities will move inside.

Grove History Hike

Have you ever wondered why The Grove exists? Why is it a national historic landmark? Who lived here? Why do we have a Native American Indian Village, a Log Cabin, Blacksmith’s Shop, Historic Kennicott House and other museums, outdoor art, memorials, gardens, and buildings? Experience a new kind of guided walking tour of The Grove where staff will share their favorite stories as you visit the most interesting locations around the most beautiful natural areas. Admission Fee: $7 per skater (Children ages 5 and under skate free with a paying adult)
