Restoration Kids Days

Children ages 3+ yrs. and their guardians participate in amazing hands-on environmental experiences where they join a skilled staff member in high-quality learning activities that connect children and adults to nature, conservation, and prepares them for a future of lifelong learning, appreciation and stewardship of the Earth. Program may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

Summer Fest

After two years, Summer Fest returns to Glenview! Featuring food trucks, great sales, and fun activities, Glenview’s annual Summer Fest welcomes families and friends to Lehigh Avenue and Jackman Park in Glenview. The fun starts at 9:00am and runs to 3:00pm. Live music follows from 6:00pm to 10:00pm with food trucks and beer/wine vendors. Sponsors Coors Light and Glenview House will host headliner Freddy Jones Band: a roots, rock band from Chicago.

Organized by Glenview’s Chamber of Commerce, the Fest showcases a range of regional businesses and civic organizations and offers something for everyone from restaurants to crowd favorites include Rio Bamba, Glenview Fire Department’s fire pole and special entertainment and kid friendly activities.
