Grove History Hike

The weather will be warming up in time for a one-hour guided walking hike. Experience nature and the beautiful historical buildings on foot while learning about The Grove’s history. The hike takes you to the Native American Indian Village, the Pioneer Log Cabin, the Blacksmith’s Shop and the historic Kennicott House. Dress appropriately and wear comfortable shoes. Advance registration is required.

Mystical Magic

Children, ages 6-14, learn fascinating tricks from the magic team of Gary Kantor! Amaze your family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind reading and more. New and returning students are welcome because new tricks are taught each session. All materials provided.

Backyard Birds

Learn where, when, and how to find birds in your neighborhood. Create a birdfeeder to help attract birds to your yard. Guided outdoor Bird walk included. Please bring binoculars or share ours. Fee listed is per person; please register each family member separately.

Farm Adventure Area Grand Opening-SOLD OUT

UPDATE: Tickets for the Farm Adventure Area Grand Opening event are sold out. The farm will be open to the general public around 2 pm for visitors to play and enjoy the farm. No tickets or admission fees will be needed after the grand opening event. We look forward to seeing everyone! Robothink Soccer Bot Workshop

Students, ages 6-12, build a robot and then play an exciting game of robot soccer. Our lesson plans are built around RoboThink’s exclusive kits. The activities are interactive, hands-on and engaging to promote learning in a fun way.

Composting 101

Learn the basics of composting in this introductory class. Vermicomposting vs. traditional composting will be covered. Participants will leave with the knowledge to start a home kitchen or yard composter. This class will be taught by Master Gardener Dori Flerlage.

When Chores Were Done

A visit to the farm will have lasting memories. Your child is invited to come to the farm to do the before supper chores. There are animals to tend to, the kitchen garden to be weeded and the fields are ready for planting. Chore boots and gloves are provided. For ages 7-13.
