In the assessment phase (Sept 2022-Jan 2023), we collected information from across the organization and the community:
- Affirmed framework for plan
- Reviewed mission, vision, guiding principles
- Developed process, timeline
- Conducted a community-wide survey
- Held staff NOISE workshops

In Phase 2, we have mapped out our draft strategies, goals and objectives (Jan 2023-Feb 2023).

public engagement
In this phase 3, we developed a short survey for community review and feedback on the draft version of our 2023-2026 Strategic Plan. Thank you to all who shared your thoughts and took the time to review the draft plan!
adoption & implementation
After reviewing and applying community feedback to the draft strategic plan, the final plan was reviewed by the Park Board and approved at the March 2023 Board Meeting. The Strategic Plan timeline begins May 1, 2023 to coincide with the Park District fiscal year.
