Movie in the Park: Clifford the Big Red Dog

Join us at Jackman Park on Friday, September 9 for a night under the stars watching Clifford the Big Red Dog on the Glenview Public Library’s blow-up screen. The free movie is presented by the Glenview Public Library and the Glenview Park District. In case of rain, this event will be moved into the Glenview Library’s Community Room. All ages are welcome. Don’t forget to bring your own blankets or chairs.

Brunch with Rachel Carson: A GHA Fundraiser

Join the Grove Heritage Association (GHA) for a fundraising event featuring a wonderful brunch with omelet stations, shopping with featured artisans from the upcoming Holiday Market, and exceptional entertainment. In a living history portrayal, award-winning historian Leslie Goddard depicts biologist Rachel Carson. Carson wrote Silent Spring, a nonfiction book that became one of the most-influential publications in the modern environmental movement. Deadline to purchase tickets is 9/6.

Historic Wagner Farm Fall Festival

Celebrate harvest time and the arrival of fall. Join Historic Wagner Farm for wagon rides and livestock encounters, enjoy live music and food vendors, see agricultural machinery on display, have fun making crafts, playing games, and more!

  • Live music performances by The Cowboy Choir and Terry & Maren from the band Next Week
  • Food available for purchase from Dinky Delights (donuts), Sweet Memories (crepes) and a special apple pie sundae from Sweets & Treats

William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream

CenterStage in Lake Forest presents William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, adapted and directed by Barbara J. Anderson.

Performances will take place on August 27 & 28 at the Gallery Park Ampitheater, and September 17 at Jackman Park.

Historic Wagner Farm Fall Sales - Mums!

Mum sales begin 9/18; pumpkin sales begin 10/1 and continue daily until all items are sold. Find unique gifts and rustic fall decor in the fall sales shed. Wagon rides are offered Saturdays 2-4 pm and Sundays, 10 am-12 pm through October 30. Tickets are sold on site for $4/person. Children under 2 free of charge. Note: Rides are subject to cancellation. Native American Day at The Grove

Join us at The Grove to celebrate Native American Day by learning more about the Native Americans that lived in this region prior to colonization. The Native American Village and Long House at The Grove will be open for tours and activities for the first time since 2020.
