Glenview Will Have 4th of July Fireworks

The Glenview Park District is officially planning to host the annual fireworks show on July 4 at Gallery Park. This year, the show will not be synchronized to music and there will also not be a live musical performance before the fireworks show.

More details about parking and crowd control will be released in June. In April, the Park District and Village announced plans for hosting a “reverse” parade again in 2021. Residents will be able to obtain timed tickets to drive through Community Park West to see stationary “floats” set up by community groups from the safety of their cars. More details and tickets for the “reverse” parade will also be released in June.

The Glenview Park Board, in collaboration with the Village of Glenview, is responsible for determining whether or not the parade and fireworks are held.
