There are several ways you can support this remarkable treasure in our community.
In order to provide quality educational programs for local school children throughout the school year, The Grove depends on volunteers. Our programs include seasonal changes, pond study, wild flowers, pioneer arts and skills, Native American cultures, and nature walks. …to a box turtle, to a bullfrog, to a bluegill! Sponsor an animal at The Grove. Your sponsorship includes:
- An official certificate of Sponsorship suitable for framing
- A color print of your animal
- A fact sheet about your animal
- Your name on the “Animal Sponsorship” list displayed at the Interpretive Center

For over 30 years, the Grove Heritage Association, The Grove’s citizen support group, has played an integral part in the preservation and development of the Grove, volunteering thousands of hours and raising hundreds of thousands of dollars. Restoration Work Days
Saturdays at 9 am
September 28, October 5, November 2, December 7
Help collect seeds or remove non-native, invasive plants to make way for native wildflowers, grasses and trees. Anyone ages 8 and up is welcome. No advance registration necessary—just dress for the weather, bring your work gloves if you have them and meet at the Interpretive Center. (Work parties may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.)
